TAURUS forestry ropes are processed in a state-of-the-art swaging press to compact the struc- ture of the strand and rope cross section, increasing the demand to the breaking load with maximum flexibility. This makes TAURUS forestry ropes ideal for years of use in the forestry sector as traction and haul-back lines for cable cranes, tower yarders, tractor winches and winch units. The high breaking load, flexibility, insusceptibility to twisting, resistance and optimum load distribution guarantee a high level of safety and long life of every TAURUS forestry rope. DWH currently produces an average annual volume of more than 2 million metres of TAURUS special ropes for a wide range of applications.
